Please Note
Training Length
We do not generally offer trainings that are less than 1 hour in length, with the exception of conferences and speaking engagements. This is because we find that it is very difficult to deliver key information about this kaupapa, preface it with the necessary context and respond to questions to clarify understanding when given less than an hour.
Training Location
*The majority of our facilitators are based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Te-Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) and Ōtautahi (Christchurch). We can deliver online training to staff anywhere in Aotearoa and can travel to other regions on occasion, but there may be additional costs associated where out-of-region travel is required.
Booking in Advance
We receive a large number of enquiries for training so if you are able to contact us with as much notice as possible that is greatly appreciated, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate your request on the desired date.
Speaking Engagements
We can be hired for speaking engagements, panels or conferences. We are proud to have a number of inspiring and experienced facilitators available who can deliver keynotes at conferences, sit on panels and more.
If you have a specific event or conference that you would like us to speak at, fill out our enquiry form and we will get in touch!
“They came to each of our team meetings, provided insight and tips and were amazing to work with. Co-design with them – it’ll be the best decision you made.”

Resources for Workplaces
Rainbow Terminology
A list of terms related to sex, gender and sexuality, and their common definitions.
Pronouns
InsideOUT Kōaro has developed a video resource on the importance of pronouns. Sharing your pronouns and asking for someone else’s is an easy way to signal to the person you’re talking to that you aren’t assuming what their gender identity is or how they wish to be referred to. This is really important because every trans and gender diverse person’s journey is different.
While some people may take steps to transition socially, legally and/or medically, others may not. You therefore cannot know what someone’s gender identity is just by looking at them, knowing their name or hearing their voice.
Posters
A collection of rainbow posters from InsideOUT Kōaro and other rainbow organisations across Aotearoa that can be downloaded and printed for use in the workplace.
